With Delina, the perfumer Quentin Bisch has created an homage to the unshakable and joyful femininity of strong women, and the fragrance displays all the rigorous optimism of a doe-eyed teenage girl. The opening notes bounce out in a rush of juicy, rhubarb and lychee, washing the wearer down in a bright sluice of fruity freshness and sweet-tart nuances. It is green and pink in tone, with little pops of silver from the sultry vanilla, cashmere woods, and dry, salty ambroxan. The heart explodes in the pure pink pulp of Turkish rose essence, the jammiest of all roses. A serious base follows, full of dark, grassy notes of vetiver, red cedar, and ashy incense.
